Story
The story follows Raja, a carefree college student who falls deeply in love with Meenakshi, a simple and kind-hearted young woman. Their relationship grows stronger as they plant and care for a mango tree together, which becomes a symbol of their love.
However, their relationship changes when Meenakshi becomes a secretary to a wealthy businessman. As her responsibilities increase, she gradually becomes distant from Raja, eventually leaving him heartbroken.
Unable to cope with the separation, Raja goes through a difficult emotional period. After surviving a suicide attempt, he decides to focus on his future and fulfill his mother’s dream of becoming a successful student.
Plot
Raja’s heartbreak changes his personality, and he develops a strong resentment towards romantic relationships. Later, he becomes involved in an underground fight while trying to help a friend, leaving him critically injured.
Raja eventually needs a heart transplant to survive. In an unexpected twist, he receives a heart donated by Meenakshi, who has sacrificed her life to save him.
After recovering, Raja learns the truth about Meenakshi’s sacrifice. He dedicates himself to preserving the Maamaram, the mango tree that represents their everlasting love and memories.
