Amaran

Story
The story follows Major Mukund Varadarajan, a brave officer of the Indian Army’s Rajput Regiment. From his college days in Chennai, Mukund dreams of serving the nation and eventually joins the Army.
During this period, he meets Indhu Rebecca Varghese, and their friendship gradually develops into love. Despite the differences between their families and the challenges of a military life, they eventually get married and start a family.
Mukund’s career later took him to Jammu and Kashmir, where he served in the 44 Rashtriya Rifles. His dedication to duty and courage during a counter-terrorism operation in Shopian became the defining chapter of his life.
Plot
The film is framed through Indhu’s journey as she travels to New Delhi to receive the Ashoka Chakra on behalf of her late husband. As she remembers their life together, the story moves between their relationship and Mukund’s military career.
