Story
Set in 1998 in southern Tamil Nadu, the story follows Sivanaindhan, a bright 12-year-old boy living with his mother and sister in a poor village community.
During his school holidays, Sivanaindhan is forced to work at a banana plantation, carrying heavy banana stalks to earn money for his family. Although he dreams of enjoying his childhood with his friend Sekar, poverty and family responsibilities leave him little choice.
Sivanaindhan struggles to balance school, friendship, childhood dreams, and exhausting manual labor. The story highlights the harsh realities faced by children from economically disadvantaged families and takes an emotional turn as unexpected events change his life.
