Story
The Last Man in Tower story follows Yogesh Mishra, popularly known as Masterji, a retired schoolteacher living in an old Mumbai housing society.
The residents are presented with a lucrative offer from a real estate developer who wants to purchase the aging building. While many residents see the deal as an opportunity to receive a large cash payout and move towards a better future, Masterji refuses to sell his home.
His decision creates a growing divide within the housing society. As his neighbors begin supporting the developer’s proposal, Masterji finds himself increasingly isolated.
What begins as a disagreement over property soon develops into a much deeper conflict. Masterji’s quiet resistance forces the residents to confront their own choices, compromises, ambitions, and the price they are willing to pay for change.
