Movie Synopsis

Movie Plot
The story unfolds along the Curuçá River in the Amazon rainforest, where riverboat captain Raúl transports doctors Miguel, Alli, and Callum on a humanitarian mission to provide medical care to remote communities. Raúl’s adopted daughter, Lena, joins the journey while searching for her missing brother, Jorge, who disappeared while investigating illegal mining activities in the jungle.
During their travels, the group encounters surveyors Brennan and Shawn Malloy, who are exploring the region for potential road development. Tensions escalate when Alli confronts the brothers over their activities. A violent confrontation follows, leaving Shawn dead after a fatal accident at the dock. Lena and Alli subsequently dispose of his body in the river.
As the mission continues, the characters face increasingly dangerous circumstances in the rainforest. Their struggles become even more terrifying as they encounter Boiúna, a colossal serpent associated with Amazonian mythology.
