Story
The story follows Malik, a notorious gang leader from Chicago’s West Side who returns home after being released from prison. Determined to avenge the murder of his closest friend, Sayeed, Malik prepares to launch a violent retaliation against a rival gang.
Before her passing, Malik’s deeply religious grandmother gives him a small icon of Saint Moses the Black, a former criminal who transformed his life through faith and became one of Christianity’s most revered saints.
