Story
The story follows Malik, a notorious gang leader from Chicago’s West Side who returns home after being released from prison. Determined to avenge the murder of his closest friend, Sayeed, Malik prepares to launch a violent retaliation against a rival gang.
Before her passing, Malik’s deeply religious grandmother gives him a small icon of Saint Moses the Black, a former criminal who transformed his life through faith and became one of Christianity’s most revered saints.
Soon, Malik begins experiencing mysterious visions of Saint Moses, forcing him to question the life of violence he has always known. As rival gangs, corrupt law enforcement, and dangerous enemies close in, Malik finds himself torn between revenge and redemption.
