L2: Empuraan is a 2025 Malayalam-language action thriller and political gangster film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Story
The story follows Stephen Nedumpally, who secretly lives as Khureshi Ab’raam, the powerful leader of a global crime syndicate. As political unrest, international conspiracies, and extremist threats begin to shake Kerala, Khureshi is forced to return and confront powerful enemies.
The film also explores the tragic past of Zayed Masood, whose life is shattered during the 2002 communal riots. His journey eventually intertwines with Khureshi’s mission, leading to an intense battle against corruption, violence, and political manipulation.
