Movie Story
The story follows Anand (Naveen Chandra), an unemployed man who becomes deeply obsessed with occult practices and tantric rituals. Believing that supernatural forces can help him overcome his financial struggles, Anand begins exploring dangerous rituals in search of wealth and a better life.
His obsession gradually affects his family. Anand pulls his wife Lalitha (Divya Pillai) and their young daughter Meera into a frightening situation that they struggle to understand.
As the family’s circumstances become increasingly disturbing, Meera begins communicating with a mysterious unseen entity named Honey. What initially appears to be an imaginary friend soon becomes a source of growing fear and uncertainty.
Anand and Lalitha struggle to understand what is happening to their daughter. Meanwhile, the family’s fear, paranoia, and emotional instability continue to grow.
As the story progresses, the boundary between supernatural experiences and psychological delusion becomes increasingly unclear. The family is forced to confront terrifying events while questioning what is real and what may be the result of trauma and manipulation.
Plot
Honey combines psychological horror with spiritual and family drama. Rather than relying only on traditional supernatural scares, the film explores how fear, belief, trauma, and abuse can affect a vulnerable family.
Anand’s obsession with occult practices becomes the catalyst for a series of disturbing events. His actions expose Lalitha and Meera to an increasingly unstable environment, while Meera’s connection with the mysterious entity Honey adds another layer of uncertainty.
The film keeps viewers questioning whether the terrifying events are genuinely supernatural or connected to the family’s psychological and emotional breakdown.
