Story
The Champion story follows Michael C. Williams (Roshan Meka), a talented footballer from the Secunderabad region who dreams of becoming a professional football player in England.
Michael gets a major opportunity to play for a Manchester-based football club, but the chance unexpectedly slips away. Determined to fulfill his dream of reaching England, he continues searching for a way to make his ambition a reality.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad State is caught in a period of political and social unrest, with movements rising against the Razakars. In an attempt to arrange his journey to England, Michael agrees to transport weapons to the Bidar region. However, his plans take an unexpected turn, forcing him to seek refuge in Bhairanpally, a village caught in a violent conflict.
What begins as a journey driven by his football dreams soon becomes a fight for survival. Michael is eventually forced to take up arms and stand against the Hyderabad government and the Razakars.
The story also explores how Michael became a football champion representing the Secunderabad team against the Hyderabad government team. His journey from an aspiring footballer chasing a foreign opportunity to a man caught in a historic struggle forms the emotional core of Champion.
