Kingston (also marketed as Kingston and the Cursed Sea) is a 2025 Tamil-language fantasy horror adventure film directed by Kamal Prakash in his directorial debut. The film is produced by G. V. Prakash Kumar, Bhavani Sre, and Umesh KR Bansal under the banners Parallel Universe Pictures and Zee Studios.

Story
Set in the coastal village of Thoovathor in the Thoothukudi district, the story revolves around a sea believed to be cursed since a mysterious paranormal event in 1982. Fishing—the lifeline of the village—is banned because anyone who ventures into the haunted waters never returns.
Kingston, also known as King, works for local smuggler Thomas, believing he is transporting sea cucumbers. When he discovers that he has unknowingly become part of a drug-smuggling operation, he decides to break free and uncover the truth.
Driven by courage, Kingston sails into the cursed sea with his friends, determined to lift the supernatural curse and restore hope to his struggling village. As they venture deeper into the haunted waters, they uncover terrifying secrets, hidden truths, and a dark mystery buried for decades.
