To avoid possible social complications in the village, Raja introduces Kayanat to the villagers using the name “Manika” and allows her to stay at his home for some time. As they spend more time together, their friendship develops into love.
However, their relationship faces a major challenge when Kayanat completes her research and returns to Aligarh. Her family has arranged her marriage to Ekram, who eventually discovers her relationship with Raja.
Consumed by jealousy and anger, Ekram attempts to kill Raja. Although Raja survives the attack, he slips into a coma, leaving the people around him facing an uncertain future.
