Messenger
The story follows Sakthivel, a software engineer whose life falls apart after the woman he loves, Deepthi, marries someone else. Overcome by heartbreak, Sakthivel attempts to end his life.
However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he receives a mysterious message from Anandhi, a Facebook friend who has already passed away.
Initially shocked by the messages, Sakthivel investigates Anandhi’s identity and eventually discovers that she is communicating with him from beyond the grave. As their conversations continue, an unusual emotional connection develops between them.
Plot
Sakthivel gradually accepts Anandhi’s supernatural presence in his life. Their friendship becomes deeper, eventually developing into an extraordinary form of love that crosses the boundaries between life and death.
Sakthivel falls in love with Anandhi’s spirit, and their relationship leads to an unconventional marriage. For a while, the two experienced happiness despite their unusual circumstances.
However, their relationship faces a new challenge when Anandhi decides to leave Sakthivel, believing that her purpose in his life has been fulfilled.
The emotional conflict forces Sakthivel to confront questions about love, loss, attachment, and whether a relationship can truly survive beyond death.
