PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie is an upcoming 2026 Canadian animated adventure comedy film based on the popular children’s television series PAW Patrol, created by Keith Chapman. It is the sequel to PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (2023).
The film is directed by Cal Brunker, who co-wrote the screenplay with Bob Barlen. The story takes Ryder and the PAW Patrol pups on their biggest adventure, yet when they crash-land on a mysterious island inhabited by dinosaurs.
Story
The story begins when the PAW Patrol is caught in a mysterious storm while traveling by ship. The pups crash-land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs.
There, they meet Rex, a stranded pup who has spent years on the island and has become an expert on dinosaurs. With Rex’s help, the PAW Patrol discovers the island’s secrets and prepares for a dangerous new mission.
Their adventure takes a dramatic turn when Mayor Humdinger begins mining the island to exploit its natural resources. His reckless actions accidentally trigger a dormant volcano, putting the dinosaurs and the entire island at risk.
Ryder and the pups must work together with Rex to handle a series of dino-sized rescues, stop Humdinger, and prevent the island’s creatures from facing extinction.
Plot
After being swept off course by a mysterious storm, the PAW Patrol crash-lands on a remote island where dinosaurs still roam.
The pups meet Rex, who guides them through the prehistoric world. When Mayor Humdinger’s mining operation causes a dormant volcano to erupt, the team faces its biggest rescue mission.
With the island in danger, the PAW Patrol must use teamwork, courage, and their rescue skills to protect the dinosaurs and restore peace.
