Story
The story begins with the shocking death of Elisa, a wealthy and influential woman whose life appears successful and carefully controlled. Her sudden death raises suspicion, prompting the police to investigate the people closest to her.
Among those questioned is Namrutha, Elisa’s close companion. Namrutha soon becomes the prime suspect after investigators uncover circumstances that appear to connect her to the murder.
The situation becomes even more complicated when it is revealed that Namrutha was recently added as a beneficiary in Elisa’s will. This gives the authorities a possible motive and strengthens the case against her.
Facing serious allegations, Namrutha turns to Maya Kannappa, a determined and experienced defense attorney. Maya takes on the case and begins examining the evidence, relationships, and secrets surrounding Elisa’s death.
Plot
The Verdict centers on Namrutha’s fight to prove her innocence while her lawyer attempts to uncover what really happened to Elisa.
As the courtroom proceedings progress, hidden relationships, personal conflicts, betrayals, and possible motives gradually come to light. What initially appears to be a straightforward murder case becomes increasingly complicated as every piece of evidence raises new questions.
