Story
The Laila story follows Sonu Model, a skilled beautician whose makeup and beauty skills have made him popular among women in his neighbourhood.
Sonu helps one of his clients, Jyoti, by lending her money to support her husband’s struggling cooking oil business. He also allows them to use his photograph to promote their business.
Meanwhile, Sonu gets into trouble after exposing a woman who falsely claims to be the wife of Sub-Inspector Shankar. The incident creates a confrontation between Shankar and Sonu, leading the police officer to seek revenge.
Sonu also finds himself at odds with local rowdy Rustum. With threats closing in from different sides, he decides that his only way out is to disguise himself as a woman and assume the identity of Laila.
As Sonu begins living as Laila, his new identity creates a series of hilarious and complicated situations. How he manages to escape his enemies and deal with the consequences of his disguise forms the rest of the story.
