Story
The story follows an NRI who returns to his native village after spending ten years away. While hoping to reconnect with his roots and pursue love, an unexpected mistake awakens an ancient supernatural force that has terrified the village for generations.
At the center of the village’s fears is a mysterious castle believed to be inhabited by a powerful demon known as Raakaasa.
According to an old legend, the demon demands a human sacrifice once every 500 years. In return, the village is believed to remain safe from destruction.
As the ancient cycle approaches again, strange events begin to occur. The villagers believe these incidents are warnings that the sacrifice is near.
The NRI soon finds himself caught in the middle of the supernatural mystery. What begins as a journey involving love and family quickly turns into a fight for survival as the ancient darkness grows stronger.
Plot
The film is built around a centuries-old legend surrounding a mysterious castle located on the outskirts of the village.
The villagers believe that Raakaasa appears once every 500 years and demands a human sacrifice. Before the ritual takes place, three ominous signs are believed to appear:
A meteor shower becomes visible over the village.
Cattle began dying mysteriously.
A strange stone appears near the castle.
These signs have been passed down through generations, keeping the villagers fearful of the ancient entity.
During the previous cycle, the villagers reportedly sacrificed a toddler to satisfy the demon. As the next cycle approaches, the return of the warning signs creates panic throughout the community.
The arrival of the NRI adds another layer to the mystery, particularly after his actions unintentionally disturb the ancient power.
