Story
The story follows Michael Mason, a former MI6 “Black Kite” assassin who has abandoned his violent past and chosen a solitary life on a remote island in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. Living in complete isolation, Mason survives with weekly supplies delivered by teenager Jessie and her uncle, a former Royal Marines comrade.
Everything changes when a violent storm claims Jessie’s uncle and throws her into the sea. Mason rescues the young girl and shelters her in his home, forming an unexpected bond as she recovers.
However, Mason’s act of compassion exposes his hidden identity. Soon, a dangerous agency determined to eliminate him discovers his whereabouts, forcing him back into a deadly world he desperately tried to escape.
As enemies close in, Mason must rely on his deadly skills to protect Jessie while confronting painful memories and unfinished business from his past. The journey becomes a thrilling fight for survival, redemption, and a chance at a new beginning.
